APX1000button programming
I am programming a APX1000 model 1.5. How do you program the buttons for long press options? How do you operate the SCNL scan list programming menu?

From my experience of programming these APX.. There is no long press option..
I monitor my PM's, So I should reply fairly quick...
Re: APX1000button programming
On the APX series, there no specific separate long-press settings for the buttons, but depending on what you program the button for, there are certain long-press features that apply.
e.g.
- long press on Scan is Scan List Edit
- long press on light is flip top display (6000/7000/8000 only)
- long press on monitor is monitor latch enable
Scan List Edit operation:
1) Enter Scan List Edit (long press the scan button)
2) move the channel selector to the desired channel you want to add(or remove) to/from the scan list
3) press the top/purple side button to add/remove the channel from the scan list (you can't remove the channel you're current on)
(you'll see the Scan "Z" icon on or off to denote its in the list or not)
4) press the Home button of quick PTT press to exit Scan List Edit
Notes:
- You cannot add more scan list members than you have configured in the scan list. So when you create the scan list, make sure to allow for more by adding additional unassigned scan list members to the list.
- Your scan list needs to be set up for "Operator Select" for non-priority members (even if you're not using priority scanning)
