I dug out my MSF DMP today to try to troubleshoot a persistent squelch crash issue. Unfortunately, the 8 pin metering cable that went with it is MIA. Does anyone have any pinout information? Is it by chance straight through to where i could substitute with an ethernet patch cable? I have what I need to build a cable if I have to, but I'm all for easy if I can get away with it!
Thanks,
John

Yes - you are correct. In my haste to check my TLN2418 Box it is listed just as themotorola_otaku wrote:Negative, ghostrider... the connections are crossed. 1-8, 2-7, 3-5, and so on.fineshot1 wrote:yes it is straight through
grey cable on the kit list with no part number. I was in too much of a hurry to look
it over while trying to do a few other things and did not notice the crossed color
pairs threw the translucent RJ45 connectors. I just verified that now - thanks for
the correction.

Thank you both! I'll dig out the crimper and cable tonight.
