Motorola Desktrac UHF Repeater ??

Post by 52eddie »

I saw this item on ebay and was wondering if such a thing existed? Or was the seller Full of s**t!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 08133&rd=1

I tried doing a search on it but could only seem to find out that it was essential just a base station?

Is it possible to make into a repeater? just wondering about it.

I believe the repeater version is two MaxTracs inside the box, with a controller module and, in this case, an in-the-box mobile duplexer.

Yes it is! 1 full blown maxtrac 16pin radio, 1 maxtrac no p.a. which is the receive radio both are 16pin radio's and a mobile duplexer with a simple controller. bulit in power supply. they run great on uhf at 38 watts .
