Flashcode requirements for MDC1200 on Astro Spectra

Just wondering what the flashcode requirements are to get MDC1200 on an Astro Spectra..

I have 2 VHF W9 radios (Host 11/DSP 8, 540001-040240-0), and neither of them have MDC options in CPS. They are also flashed for Hardware Multikey Encryption, but neither has any multikey options in CPS, which I suspect is related to the MDC problem.

Any ideas on this one? I thought MDC1200 was standard after a certain firmware version...
