APX Speaker Mic - HMN4104B

Post by henryg »

Hello. I just received this speaker mic and I have the radio software. I was wondering where in the software do I find the programing for the RSM? The display on the RSM does not match the display on the radio. Thanks! Henry

Should be OK with that radio and firmware.

"Radio Ergonomics Configuration" --> "Controls" --> "Accessory Buttons"

Thanks. The buttons I understand. The RSM display does not match the radio display. The RSM alternates C and Zone 1. Zone 1 I understand. C does not match anything I prpgrammed. Thank you!

It might not be something you yourself programmed, but it's showing you exactly what's shown in the Zone Configuration Top Display setting. Check your programming...you'll find it.

Thank you so much for your help and quick response. I found it! It was staring me right in the face and I did not see it. Walked away from computer and then it popped right out. The RSM display does not follow radio display. You have to enter what you want on the RSM display in the Top Display Channel field. Thanks again! Henry

Great. Yes, the 4000 doesn't have a "top display" like the 6000, 7000, and 8000 do, but you still program it the same as the others.
