Minitor III/IV Amplified Chargers - Not Charging Pager - Is there something I'm missing?

I recently purchased some Minitor pagers with amplified chargers. The pagers charge fine when placed in the small desk chargers, but Do Not
charge when placed in the amplified charger units. The red "pager" LED comes on when I place the pager in the pocket and the audio works, but
the pager does not charge. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a manual for the amplified charger to reference. Is there something that
needs to be done to initiate the charging process?
