Mag One BPR40 transmit audio choppy

Post by arlojanis »

In 2006 SRN 1522 came out about this problem of choppy transmit audio. It says that sensitivity of some audio accessories is higher than the BPR40's internal microphone. The solution was to send the radio to the depot for a new board. I still have this problem with BPR radios of all ages on both bands. I am using PMMN4013A mics. Is there a cure?

Very common problem with these radios.. usually off frequency and adjust the warp using a service monitor .. also check if radio is set to narrowband
