XTS UCM Firmware
What is the latest Astro25 UCM Firmware? I was thinking it was R05.07.xx
But....
I just picked up one of these ex-DC Police XTS5000's on ebay and it has DES-XL/OFB. The UCM Firmware is showing to be R07.11.10 both in test mode and in CPS.

Re: XTS UCM Firmware
Latest was 05.07.15 for UCM's.
Any chance you have one of the mystical XTS/XTL MACE's? I remember on P25.ca they claimed that such a beast existed.

Re: XTS UCM Firmware
Your guess is as good as mine.. It only has DES-XL and DES-OFB. Host/DSP is 11 so it's older.p47r4ck wrote:Latest was 05.07.15 for UCM's.

Re: XTS UCM Firmware
Also just to rule it out... I don't see any indications of a Sierra Module in the service menu or CPS... That was my first concern.

Re: XTS UCM Firmware
Yes, there are definitely MACE UCMs for X series radios, and they are in the 7.xx.xx firmware range. The last couple of years of XTS5000 production that is what was used, from what I've seen.

Re: XTS UCM Firmware
Any chance you happen to know if you can Key-load the newer MACE-style UCM's with a KVL3000, or is KVL3000+/KVL4000 only?wavetar wrote:Yes, there are definitely MACE UCMs for X series radios, and they are in the 7.xx.xx firmware range. Re: XTS UCM Firmware
I will find out when i finish programming, all I have is a T3011DX. FWIW I can keyload my APX's with the T3011DX so I wouldn't think it would be an issue.

Re: XTS UCM Firmware
I only used 3000+ and 4000, so can't say 100%, but I don't expect it would be an issue.p47r4ck wrote:Any chance you happen to know if you can Key-load the newer MACE-style UCM's with a KVL3000, or is KVL3000+/KVL4000 only?wavetar wrote:Yes, there are definitely MACE UCMs for X series radios, and they are in the 7.xx.xx firmware range. Re: XTS UCM Firmware
The MACE supports PID and CKR keyloading, so you can quite easily load any MACE style UCM or MACE equipped device with anything from a T3011DX right up to a KVL4000.p47r4ck wrote:Any chance you happen to know if you can Key-load the newer MACE-style UCM's with a KVL3000, or is KVL3000+/KVL4000 only?wavetar wrote:Yes, there are definitely MACE UCMs for X series radios, and they are in the 7.xx.xx firmware range.
