Hi,
I have seemed to lost my notes on how to locally/directly connect astro tac receivers to astro tac comparators. I had a RJ45 pin out somewhare. Was wondering if any one had one.

Re: Astro tac to ATAC receiver
The cable is a cross over V.24 cable. When I get to work, I'll post the pinouts.

Re: Astro tac to ATAC receiver
I found this in an old post from 2012 (the notes are mine.)
Code: Select all
Pin Signal Color Signal Pin
1---RX Clock----Orn/W----TX Clock---3
2---CD----------Grn/W---------RTS---8
3---TX Clock----Orange---RX Clock---1
4---GND---------Brown---------GND---4
5---RxD---------Blu/W---------TxD---6
6---TxD---------Blue----------RxD---5
7---NC-------------------------NC---7
8---RTS---------Green----------CD---2
Use this for direct connections to an ASTROTAC. Connection to a router uses a straight-through cable.
Set clock to internal for direct connections (S101-1 off, S101-2 on) and external for connection to a router (opposite.)
Re: Astro tac to ATAC receiver
Holy thread revival, Batman!
Does anyone have the pinouts for the analog (orange) connectors on the back of the ATAC 3K comparator? And which goes to which?
Could also use some guidance on how the analog side connects to the DIU and Quantar station. It's been forever since I've worked on this stuff.
