L1548A base & L1473A remote

Post by hobbes »

I have a L1548A base and a L1473A remote handset, but don't really know anything about them. Are these tone/dc/local remotes? How do I set them up to work with a GM300?

A L1473 is a local control only. Open it and count the screw terminals on the circuit board. A tone or dc control only has terminals for 'line+' and 'line-', (not counting the power input).
A local will have terminals for PTT, MIC HI,MON,RX AUDIO,& GND.
