R-100 programming question

Post by Mike in CT »

Programming up a couple of R-100 repeaters here.

Everything is fine, but I CANNOT find the means to program in the PL tones for TX and RX !

the screen comes up with the usual:
1 read
2 edit
3 write
4 port

for the life of me I cant remember how to come up with the PL section.

"Read" works fine... reads! and "edit" works fine.

I must be losing my memory here... 'cause I know I am missing something very obvious!

Help!

thanks!

Here is what the book says:

"Upon selecting the Edit menu, the Channel Selection Menu is entered. To move from submenu to submenu, press the left or right arrow keys"

The trick is to use the arrow keys on your numeric pad, not your dedicated arrow keys. [4=left, 6= right]

That old program was written before the 102 key keyboard was invented.

The book says to be sure to have numlock and capslock activated.
