HT1250 programming

If I were to get the ht1250 full keypad is there a way to program right at the keypad?

No, the only Waris radio that supports keypad programming is a HT1550XLS with a special battery. The only other 2 (US domestic) radios that support keypad programming are the JT1000 and the GP68.
