What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

I don't remember seeing an intent to cancel, so either they forgot about it when the revamped the site, or just not adversting it and pushing the newer stuff

I was advised by my account manager that they are no longer available and XTS5K is it. Not saying that this is the gospel, I know I can't order them anymore.

Requested a quote for some XTS3K's last week, intrinsically safe for the hazmat team, all I got was a quote for XTS5K's. The rep. said that the 3K's were no longer available.

I think you can still order the XTS3000 in 800 MHz only, but even that may be very limited now. The XTS5000 is it. Makes sense, as the price is virtually identical, and it has more features and it is their current front line product.

The XTS3000 Series radios are NO LONGER available to AUSTRALIA.

Tried to get price on a model III 3000 and was given $2045 for model III XTS5000 radio.

Availability of ASTRO gear in .au basically depends entirely on what NSW and SA GRN users are buying. None of them are interested in the 3K anymore, so it went away.

Why would they be?! The old XTS3000 costs exactly the same as the XTS5000, while the 5K is Motorola's current front line model, with the most features. Pretty straight forward decsion, I'd think.

Because they're just about the only people in the country buying this gear, they don't pay anything that even looks like a US list price. The price difference was in fact quite large when the XTS5000 came out.
