Currently I recieved a Spectra Mobile in the 900mhz. Unfortunatly it didn't come with a mic and such, but it does power up successfully and seems to work. Currently I have a HMN3596A and a HMN1056D mics lying around but are RJ45 based plugs. My first question would be is there a way to wire these for this mobile? From the decoding section on here its a 30w 900mhz Trunked Smartnet capable radio. I am unsure what A# it is, but from pictures it closely resembles the A7. If anyone has some information on the pin-outs for the mics and possibly a conversion to the Spectra's mic jack, that would be greatly appreciated.
My second question is until the programming cable and rib box arrive, currently I have the RSS for Spectra Mobile Radio, version is R06.00.05 . will this work fine in programming this unit?

The Spectra mike jack, viewed from the front of the control head, has 10 pins, numbered thus:
1 3 5 7 9
2 4 6 8 10
where pins 5 and 6 are slightly above the line of the others.
The pin assignments are listed thus:
1 GND
2 S'NET/WE
3 HUB
4 SWB+
5 DIG GND
6 PTT
7 MIC Lo
8 MIC Hi
9 S'NET KID
10 S'NET KEY
I BELIEVE that only pins 1, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 are used by the standard mike, but I cannot find a schematic for the mike.

The only manual page I have is for a HMN1052A, which uses pins:
3 (BLU) (HUB)
5 (WHT) (DIG GND)
6 (GRN) (PTT)
7 (BLK) (MIC LO)
8 (RED) (MIC HI)
the PTT switch (Normally Open) closes 5+6 (PTT/DIG GND), and
8 + mic (MIC HI).
MIC LO is tied to the ground bus within the mic.
