laptop mount in 04 durango

Post by sglass »

I was looking at the Jotto desk no holes setup.

Any thought on this? Oh and any jotto desk dealers out there?

very good product

Overall Jotto makes a great product that we use on an almost daily basis. very few issues in the 2+ years we have been using their product. Although I have not used this exact mount for this truck. I have used the one for the Expedition and the Tahoe. Both were great. you will have a little bit of the mount arm into the passenger side left knee. This only becomes a major problem if you have someone of a larger size in that seat. If going on a long trip just remove it and leave the floor plate in place its down and out of the way. One important issue with the Durango. Disconnect the battery, let the vehicle sit for a few mins, then do your seat removal, put the seat back in place after the floor plate is put in. then reconnect your battery. This will help to eliminate any passenger air bag issues. ( I dont know if this is the actual Dodge proceedure, but it was told to us by a Dodge mechanic after we had to have the computer reset, and since that date we havent had an issue with the rest of the floor plates we have installed with consoles )
