'02 Impala spotlight power lead?

Post by Rick Rock »

1 of our local PD's has asked me to fix their spotlight- they had their maintenance people put in a new spotlight because the old 1 stopped working. I got a quick look @ it last night, and it has no power, and the lead goes down into the side fuse panel and ties into the cars harness on the top of the fuse box. Where does it draw power from? it didn't appear to be spliced in there, just wrapped in.

(Yea, I know, their maintenance dept. is a joke. I'm hoping to pick up more of ther work!)

Any constructive help is greatly appreciated!

What radios do you own?: XTS5000 for work

I recently aquired a retired 9C1 and I need to rehook my wire up; what size fuse should I hook this baby up to?

After driving around an ex-cop car before I might also take the damn thing off to avoid people in front of me driving very slowly.

watts/volts=amps. I usually add a few extra amps.

100watts/12volts=8.333... so 10 is about right.

Will do; tanks.

Hey check out newimpala.com, they have a dedicated 9C1 section and also have wiring diagrams around the website. PM and I can make you an offer you can't refuse.
