What radios do you own?: AM/FM with 8 track.

Pretty good radio/electronics swap meet at De Anza college on July 8th. A lot of computers, quite a bit of Hammy stuff, there are usually a few selling commercial gear.

I'll be there getting rid of a few Syntor X and other miscellaneous crap.

A good cheap way to blow a couple of hours.

It kicks off pretty early, usually around 5:30 am or so. Starts to fizzle out around noon.

Sorry I didn't make it out this morning, like most hamfests back east - i was in "well, it's on sunday mode."

Ok, so I've been working my tail off and forgot what day of the week it is :)

I'm up for a dinner if people are interested - my problem is that my work schedule is so up in the air right now, I'd hate to have one, and not be able to go.

Who would be interested?

Got to meet a Senad and KG6BKI. Even sold one of my Syntor X's. Not a bad day.

Actually had quite a gathering of "batlabbers" people at my "space" there for a while.

Good to meet all of you.

Forget the Black Anus- Go Here Instead

Post by commstar »

The Black Anus is fastfood brother: walk to toward the light & treat yourself a real hunk of grilled cow flesh.

Henrys Hi-life is a family run, Old San Jo joint. A definate original. (me not affliated other than leaving alot of money there from dinners).

TRUST ME make the trip to downtown SJ.

There are the Mortons and Ruth Chris in striking distance and even Izzys in San Carlos (airport) but you will not get a better bang for the buck than HHL. The only caveat is check the sked at the SJ arena first as this place tend to get crazy during big events especially Sharks games.

You will never go back to the Black Angus once you have had Henry's

Mike

Hey, I'm not saying black "anus" is great, good or whatever, i just figured it would be a good place since I went with Arkadam the week previous.

Either way - good to meet some of the SJ'ers.

Brian -

Hope the power comes back on today!
