Sti-co dual band antenna

Post by bellersley »

Does anyone have any experience with the stico dual band hidden antenna? I'm looking to install the vhf/800 version. The car already has a factory antenna I'd be replacing. how do there compare to proper antennas?

I have installed several sti-co's including the dual band vhf/800. They work great no problems at all. If you mention the specific vehicle maybe we can offer specific examples.

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

If your drilling a hole in the fender (like the impalas), life is good.

Depending on the vehicle, they can be a huge pain in the ass. Some vehicles need the fender removed to properly put them in...but do work really well.
