Is it possible to program eithher the Minitor I & II pagers to the 6, 2 and 70 cm ham bands? Should I expect some capacitor changes in the RF front end? Also is there any documentaion on how to configure the alignment stand/set to mount the pagers in. I recently picked us such a set and cannot figure out how to mount the board with the two wire probes and where the board with the clamp mounts to?
Thanks

I think that it might be an "out of band" question.
I definetly saw a Minitor 3 on ebay on the 2 meter hand band, so I know its possible, its out of band programming, its probably easier to do on a crystalled minitor as it cant give you the error crap for bad frequency, just some tuning needed

All of the pagers you mention are partitioned into "sub-bands". 3/4/5s are available in ham splits, as below. 2s can be moved with some work.

41.000 - 44.995
45.000 - 49.000

The Minitor II's do quite well in the ham band once recrystalled. I've got a dozen or so VHF's in use right now working just fine. I even have a few Keynote's on 442 working flawlessly. Feel free to e-mail me for more info as I send mine off to a place in NY.
