Minitor IV Engineering Mode?

Can Someone explain to me the Windows PPS Engineering mode and how to access it when you are programming the minitor?? I have the programming software. Do you have to go to Motorola to download this software?? Any additional Information would be helpful!

First: Open the Windows Minitor III/IV programming software. (I don't belive the old DOS software has this option)
Second: Open the saved file or read the pager that you wish to alter the engineering data for.
Third: In "Tools" drop down menu select "Engineer Logon"
Forth: Type in the password "Taipei"
Fifth: In "View" drop down menu select "Engineer Data"
Now your free to change all sorts of things including the warranty, frequency band, frequency split, Serial number ect..
