Seal Shield Washable GSM Phone With VHF Marine Radio

This is interesting to me. If this phone comes to fruition, this would be a GSM cell phone with a built in VHF Marine Band radio. It wouldn't be for everyone, but I think this is neat. If they expand this capability it could conceivably do the following in the future:

-Amateur Radio 2 meter Band

-MURS legal, license-free off network simplex

-Fire Tone Out capability for EMS & fire service

-NOAA Weather Radio receive possibly with SAME alerting

Motorola obviously makes cell phones, radios, pagers, etc. While they certainly would have the ability to build something like this, I rather doubt that they would. I suppose this is very much a niche device, but interesting, nevertheless.
