Our ham club has been waiting for delivery on a low split (403-470) XPR-8300 repeater for some time now. Our dealer says that Motorola has a "component" problem with their mobile radios and is holding shipments estimating at least six weeks. Apparently the 8300 is comprised of two mobiles and some sort of controller. Anyone know what exactly is the "component" that Motorola is referring to....
