Now "Need LB X9000 COMMON circuits Board Schematic

Post by Tim »

Hi Folks,

Anybody have a scanned schematic of a Low Band X9000 Controller
board? (not microcontroller).

I have a radio that draws a lot of current if there is SWB+ applied
while the main +12v is applied. Gotta be something there.

Thanks!

Tim

Hi Escomm,

I'm familiar with Mike's site, but I've not found any schematics
there, only the part numbers for the books.

If I'm wrong, please point me in the right direction!!

Thanks,

Tim

Other than some plug in jumper position differences, there is nothing low band specific for the Syntor X 9000 personality boards. Just avoid the Syntor X 9000 800 MHz trunking manuals - these trunking radios are really Syntor X radios inside (do not confuse these with Syntor X 9000E trunking radios or Syntor X 9000 800 MHz conventional radios, which use "normal" Syntor X 9000 personality boards).

Repeater Builder has an online schematic of one of the Syntor X 9000 personality board versions:
http://www.repeater-builder.com/motorol ... index.html
Syntor X9000 High Band, UHF and 800 MHz Supplement
http://www.repeater-builder.com/motorol ... lement.pdf

The different personality board part numbers may be found in this jumper table. Just click one of the three part number links at the top of the table for a layout drawing.

Well, my bad... The schematic that I need is for the 'common' circuits board! Sorry for the confusion. The schematics for the 'high band' x9k are up on repeater-builder, but not for the low band.

Thanks,

Tim

I admit it, I'm a lazy coward :). If I already had good PDF scans of the Motorola manuals and Motorola's written permission, I would be happy to host as many as possible Syntor/X/X9k PDF format manual copies on my web site.
