New Version: Host – R15.00.10, DSP – R15.00.05, CH – R11.00.07, UCM –
R05.07.12
Old Version: Host – R15.00.09, DSP – R15.00.05, CH – R11.00.05, UCM –
R05.07.12
CPS Version: R15.00.00
Issue Updates:
Abstract: FLASHport upgrades sometimes fail in XTL5000 O5 or XTL2500 M5 dash mount
configurations
System Platforms Affected: Any
Special Configurations: FLASHing radio via USB or RS232 through the control head.
User Symptom: FLASHport upgrade will sometimes fail during the period where the
Transceiver is being updated. When this occurs, the Transceiver may not be
recoverable in the field and may require Depot service.
Description: This firmware issue has been resolved. FLASHport data loss in the
Control Head that was causing corruption of the Transceiver firmware has been
eliminated. If radios to be updated with this new version are FLASHed through the
Control Head, the new Control Head version will go in first and will then handle
the FLASHing of the Transceiver, so the benefit of the resolution is experienced
right away.

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..
CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.
